Level 1 nationals include nationals from India, Myanmar, Holder Of Hong Kong Document Of Identity, Holder Of Macau Special Administrative Region (Msar) Travel Permit, Commonwealth Of Independent States(Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan)

Social/ Business Visa For Level 2 Nationals -
Level 2 nationals include nationals from Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, And Holders Of Palestinian Authority Passport, Temporary Passport Issued By The United Arab Emirates And Refugee Travel Document Issued By Middle-East Countries

Visa Processing Fee

With effect from 1 Apr 2008, the visa processing fee will be revised to RMB 153 per application. The fee collected is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or if the application is withdrawn after submission.

Submission of Visa Application

Applications are to be submitted at the Singapore Consulate-General in Xiamen between 9.00 am and 11.30 am (Mondays to Fridays).

Applicant may also submit his/her individual visa application online via the Submission of Application for Visa Electronically (SAVE) at www.ica.gov.sg. Applicants will be guided through the procedures step-by-step on SAVE online. For submission via the SAVE system, the visa processing time is 1 working day (from the time of submission).

Collection of Visa

Collection time is from 4.00 pm to 4.30 pm (Mondays to Fridays).

Notes:

  1.  The visa application form can also be downloaded from http://www.ica.gov.sg.  
  2.  Original supporting documents will be returned immediately after checking at the submission counter.
  3. Incomplete forms and/or documents submitted may result in the application being rejected or the processing delayed.
  4. Every application for a visa, including the duration of the visa granted, will be considered on its own merits and subject to approval.
  5. Applicants should ensure that the visa applications are approved before they obtain their air ticket.  The Consulate General is not responsible for any financial loss in the event that the application is not successful.
  6. Possession of a visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. The granting of entry into Singapore is determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at the point of entry. Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and confirmed onward/return air ticket.
  7. Visa issued is for multiple entries into Singapore and is valid for 5 weeks from the date of issue.  The period of stay in Singapore will be decided by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority Officer at the point of entry in Singapore.  Applicants are advised to check their passports for the arrival endorsement and take note of the duration of stay given.
  8. The Consulate General does not appoint individuals to handle visa applications on behalf of visa applicants.  Applicants are advised to submit the application either to the Consulate General or through authorized travel agencies.
