The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore is located at 3501 International Place, NW, Washington DC 20008. The Consular section is open from 9.00am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm from Mondays to Fridays, except Singapore National Day on 9th August and US federal holidays. You may contact us by:

Singaporeans who require urgent consular assistance after office hours should leave a message in the voice mail or page the Duty Officer at (202) 537-3100 ext 140.

All overseas Singaporeans are encouraged to register with the Embassy through e-Register at https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg/eregisterportal/appmanager/web/default. This will enable us to contact and render necessary assistance during any emergency or crisis situation.

Visa Services

Singaporeans who wish to find out if they require a visa to visit a particular country should contact the country’s representative closest to you to be apprised of the latest requirements.

US Passport Holders do not require a visa to enter Singapore. Please see entry requirements before your scheduled travel.

Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries will require either a Business visa or Social Vist visa to enter Singapore:

Note: Possession of a visa alone does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Visitors must also meet the following entry requirements to enter Singapore:

  1. Hold a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond the last day of intended stay in Singapore
  2. Have sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore
  3. Have confirmed onward/return air ticket

Notarial Services

The Embassy and Consulates also provide notarial services. Should you require such services, please call ahead to make an appointment with the Consular officer, and bring along your passport and/or other forms of photo identity for identification purposes.

Requests for Tours

Singaporeans interested to tour the White House must submit their requests through the Singapore Embassy in Washington, DC. For those those interested in touring the U.S. Capitol, you may do so directly at www.visitthecapitol.gov and pentagon.afis.osd.mil/tour-selection.html respectively
