A Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (CNCC) is issued by the Criminal
Investigation Department to certify that a person has no criminal conviction
within a stipulated period of time. It can be issued to Singapore citizens,
Singapore residents and foreigners who have resided in Singapore for more than 6
months and are above the age of 16. The Consulate-General is not authorised to
issue such certificates.
Applicants who are overseas may apply by post. A set of
fingerprint impressions must be submitted together with the application for
Certificate of No Criminal Conviction. In Singapore, applicants can be
fingerprinted when the application is submitted in person at the CNCC Office.
Otherwise, you may approach a local PRC Notary Public to obtain your fingerprint
impressions.
