DOCUMENTS REQUIRED - BUSINESS VISA

1. The following documents are required to apply for a Business Visa. Additional documents may be required when necessary:

(a) APPLICANT'S PASSPORT - Passport must be valid for at least six months and have at least a blank visa page.

(b) IMM FORM 14 - duly completed in English. The form can be downloaded from http://www.ica.gov.sg/data/resources/docs/Visitor%20Services/Form14.pdf. To assist you in filling up the visa application form (FORM IMM14), we have prepared a document (in Chinese) to guide you. Please click here.

(c) PHOTOGRAPH - One set of 2-inch coloured photograph taken against a white background to be affixed to IMM Form 14.

The Photograph must meet these requirements:

  • Taken within the last three months

  • Taken full face without headgear (unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with his/her religious or racial custom, but the headgear must not hide the applicant's features).

  • The facial image must be between 25mm and 35mm from chin to crown

(d) FORM V39A (Letter of Introduction) - One original set. Form V39A should be duly completed by a Singapore registered company's representative who can provide a Singapore NRIC/FIN number. The letter must also bear the address, telephone number and fax number of the company.

(e) FORM V52 (Annex) - One original set. Form V52 should be issued by a Singapore registered company.

(f) ACRA Printout - One original set of the Singapore registered company's business profile issued by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) within 6 months to one year of the date of application.

2. Applicant may submit the application in person or through a proxy. The authorised party can also collect the application on behalf of the applicant. However, the proxy must produce a Letter of Authorisation, duly completed by the applicant. The letter should indicate the proxy's name and identity card number, which must be produced for verification. Courier companies are not allowed to be appointed as proxy.

3 Applicants may also wish to submit their applications through an authorised agent.

4. Applicants who are invited by Singapore Government agencies, universities or are attending exhibition/conference/convention in Singapore are not required to produce Form V39A, V52 and the business profile of a Singapore registered company. The applicants need only to present the original letter by the inviting organisation or event organiser addressed to the applicant.
