Please note that the above emergency hotline is not for general enquiries relating to routine consular/visa services. Please call during office hours for such general enquiries.

Singaporeans in Sumatra are encouraged to register on-line with the Consulate by accessing this form.

Passports

Application/Extension

The Consulate accepts applications from Singapore residents in Sumatra for Singapore International Passports. The Consulate also grants extension of passports. These applications will be referred to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for processing. Relevant application forms are available at the Consulate. Loss

If your passport is lost/stolen, you will need to do the following:

  1. Lodge a police report (when you do so, please request for a copy of the report);
  2. Take two passport-sized photographs if you do not have spare ones with you. Instant photos are acceptable;
  3. Contact the Consulate.

When you arrive at the Consulate, please bring along with you the police report, documentary proof of your citizenship and your identity (preferably with your photograph on it, e.g., Identity Card) for the issuance of a Document of Identity (DOI).

Visa Applications

Singapore Consulate in Pekanbaru also processes visa applications for foreigners who require a visa to enter Singapore. To find out if you require a visa before visiting Singapore, please visit us at http://app.mfa.gov.sg/2006/mfaredirect.asp?web_id=3. The Consulate accepts visa applications during its office hours. The normal processing time for a Single Journey Visa for a Short Social Visit to Singapore, e.g. by an Indian passport holder is three (3) working days, provided all requirements are fulfilled.

Notarial Services

The Consulate also provides notarial services. Please bring along your passport or identity card as a form of identification should you require such service.
