Visa information for French passport holders

French passport holders do not require visas to enter Singapore for a stay of less than 3 months provided the following criteria are adhered to:

  • Passport validity of more than six months from date of entry into Singapore;
  • Confirmed flight out of Singapore;
  • Sufficient funds.

Passport Applications

The Consular Section processes applications for Singapore passports. Application forms are available at the Embassy or downloaded from the following links:

Lost Passports

Singaporeans who have lost their passport can apply for a temporary travel document called a Document of Identity (DOI) at the Embassy. The following documents are required:

  1. Police report;
  2. 2 passport sized photographs on white background;
  3. Personal particulars as given in your NRIC & NRIC number.
  4. Applicable Fee.

Notarial and Authentication Services

Most documents that do not originate from Singapore have first to be legalised by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs before they can be legalised by the Singapore Embassy. The contact details of the relevant French department are :
