The Consulate of the Republic of Singapore processes visa applications for Bangladesh Nationals and other foreigners who require social or business visas to enter Singapore.

Visitors holding ordinary Bangladesh passports will need to apply for a Singapore entry visa prior to their visit to Singapore. Visitors holding official and diplomatic Bangladesh passports are exempted from entry visa requirements.

Submission and Collection of Visa Applications

Application for visas must be submitted on-line through authorized travel agents in Dhaka together with Form 14 and passports. The Consulate of the Republic of Singapore is closed on Friday, Saturday and on Public Holidays.

Documents Required for Visa Application

  • Valid passport with at least six months validity on the date of arrival in Singapore;
  • Complete 1 set of application form (Form 14)) and a Letter of Introduction, (Form V39A) together with a recent passport-sized photograph. The photograph must be:

    • 35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border and taken within the last 3 months;

    • taken full face without headgear, unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with his/her religious or racial custom but the headgear must not hide the applicant's features. The facial image must be between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown;

    • taken against a plain white background with matt or semi-matt finish.

  • The Letter of Introduction should include a photocopy of the local contact's Singapore NRIC (identity card);

  • Ensure that the application form and the Letter of Introduction are properly completed. Any incomplete submission or false declaration will result in the application being rejected;

  • Photocopies of bio-data page, pages with endorsement and last 3 pages of the applicant's passport;

  • Valid entry visa to the next destination;
  • Ensure that your passport has at least one blank page for the visa to be pasted on. We do not issue visas on page insert/additional sheet;

  • Passport will be kept during the processing period;
  • Sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore; and
  • Applicants will have to personally furnish additional documents as and when necessary.
