Application for the Singapore International Passport
Application For The Issue Of A Singapore Passport Overseas
There are two ways to apply for a new Singapore International Passport if you reside in Australia.
The fastest and most efficient way is through the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority website, www.ica.gov.sg, to apply for a passport online. Your details and payment can be processed over the internet, and your new passport will be sent to us in Canberra to post to you by registered or express post within Australia. This process should take approximately 4 weeks. You will receive an email from the High Commission advising you of the arrival of your new passport.
Alternatively, you can apply for a new passport through the High Commission. This method should take approximately 8 weeks to complete. Passport application forms are available from the I.C.A. website.
Fill them in and mail them to us together with 2 copies of the following:
- (Available from www.ica.gov.sg. Please be advise that applicants outside Singapore have to furnish these forms.)

Female applicants who wish to change the format of their name, or have their married name included in their new passport must provide copies of their marriage certificate and deed poll. Applicants should advise in writing how they wish their married name to appear in the new passport.
