CONSULAR SERVICES

The Singapore Embassy‘s Consular Section is open from 8.30 am – 12.30 pm from Monday to Friday.

Nationals of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg do not need a visa for a stay of up to three months in Singapore. The visitor must possess:

  • Valid passport with at least six months validity on the date of departure from Singapore;
  • Returnability is assured;
  • Valid entry visa (if applicable) to the next destination;
  • Confirmed onward air ticket; and
  • Sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore.

Loss of Passport

Singaporeans who lose their passport may apply for a Document of Identity (temporary passport) from the Embassy. Please provide the following to support the application:

  1. A copy of the police report on the loss of the passport;
  2. Two passport-sized colour photographs (instant photos are acceptable);
  3. Documentary proof of your citizenship, e.g. National Registration Identity Card (NRIC);

A fee is chargeable for issue of the document of identity.

Legalisation of Documents

Before submitting any documents for legalisation at the Embassy, please ensure that they are first legalised at the following department at the Belgian Ministry for Foreign Affairs:
